The auto headlights n wipers use two different sensors mounted by the rearview mirror looking foward. BCM would probobly need programing and wiring added. I have em on my 16 mazda 6 gt and the auto wipers are neat but i dont think its worth the hassle to intall em. I may be wrong for all i know.
Mazda says the 2 systems are NOT linked and that when it rains the headlights will not come on. That is not entirely true. If the Headlights are in the AUTO setting and the Wipers are in the AUTO setting then the headlights will come on in the rain ONLY if it is raining hard enough to activate the wipers in LOW or HIGH speed.
